Change is a necessary part of achieving business growth
These days change feels constant – and with so much change happening all the time, there is a real need to manage it more efficiently and effectively.
Change affects – and is affected by – individuals, teams and organisations. People make change happen, and the future growth of your business depends on the ability of your people to adapt quickly to new products, services, technologies or ways of working to make them successful.
Projects are the most common vehicles used to deliver change, and the ultimate goal of project management is to achieve the desired business objectives whilst maximising return on investment (ROI).
Access to the expertise you need to succeed, when you need it
People are often expected to deliver change as part of their day-to-day roles, with little support or guidance around how to do this effectively and efficiently.
Change done badly takes longer and costs more, doesn’t embed as well as it might have, and the opportunity for growth is lost. Poor change management can also have a detrimental effect on morale, resulting in poor performance, rising sickness or attrition rates.
Project managers are usually focused on delivering their own projects rather than the bigger business picture, including learning lessons for next time – and if you have remote or geographically dispersed teams, they need even more help with coordination and communication to manage the combined effects on business as usual.
