I read Ken Burrell’s “Learning Lessons from Projects” from cover to cover in one sitting – unusual for me, especially when it comes to business books.
What I enjoyed most is Ken’s style of writing. I felt that we were having a conversation, practitioner-to-practitioner on how things can be better.
There’s been a lot of research into this topic that Ken has referenced clearly throughout, and brings his own suggestions of how to apply in the real world. There’s also some personal anecdotes of lessons Ken has learned himself – professionally and personally – which bring the whole book to life.
