A subscription service from Growth Through Knowledge gives you the ability to make your payments on a monthly or annual basis.

Monthly plans are billed on sign-up, then renewed on the 1st of each month on a rolling basis unless cancelled (30 days notice required).

Annual plans are billed in full on sign-up, then renewed each year on the anniversary of your sign-up date. This is a commitment to a full 12 months, as you will benefit from a discounted price, and 60 days’ (2 months) notice will be required to cancel any renewal due. 

You can use either your debit/credit card or set up a direct debit from your bank account to pay for your subscription:

GoCardless is a service that facilitates direct debit payments, is authorised by the FCA and is GDPR compliant.

Once you have set up a flexible Direct Debit mandate with Growth Through Knowledge, your future payments can be collected automatically (even if dates or amounts change).

Payments are automatic, so you won’t get chased for payments, and there’s no risk of late payment fees. You set up payment once; after that, it’s taken automatically on the invoice due date. There is no need to set diary reminders or log into your Internet banking to make a payment.  

Email notifications will keep you informed before any payments are taken. Paying through GoCardless makes your payment predictable, making it easier to budget for services.

Any payments collected via Direct Debit are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme, meaning you are guaranteed a refund if any fees are taken in error.

Stripe is a payment service provider that lets businesses accept credit and debit cards.

Stripe has been audited and certified as a PCI compliance Level 1 service provider, which means it has to undergo an annual compliance report and routine security scans and tests.
Stripe encrypts all customers’ credit card numbers and stores decrypted information separately, which means it can’t see your card number without taking extra steps.
The U.K. Financial Conduct Authority has authorised Stripe PSP as an electronic money institution; it does not offer any form of deposit or savings account.

Once I’ve answered all your questions, you’ll need to sign up for the Terms & Conditions and make payment so I can get to work. 

For bigger projects or those that we have agreed will be billed on a Time & Materials basis, that payment will be a deposit, and a schedule for further payments due will be provided as part of the Terms & Conditions.

Fair, transparent pricing aligns with the level of expertise and quality of work provided, and achieves a balance between reflecting the value of the services provided and meeting any budget constraints and expectations.

Here are some of the factors I consider when setting my prices:

Scope of Services: The range of services offered plays a significant role in determining the pricing. A comprehensive package with a wide array of services will be priced differently from a more specialised or limited offering.

Skill Level and Experience: Rates are commensurate with an ability to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

Time Commitment:  Pricing IS influenced by the amount of time dedicated to your project or service – but it is not the only factor.

Other providers may offer different pricing models, and it is your choice as to which one works best for you.

Complexity of Work: The complexity and intricacy of the tasks involved will impact pricing. More complicated services or specialised tasks will be priced higher due to the expertise required.

Industry and Market Rates: The industry and market rates for similar services in a particular region or sector also play a role. I conduct market research to ensure my rates are competitive.

Client’s Specific Needs: Tailoring services to meet the unique needs of individual clients may result in customised pricing to accommodate specific requirements or high demands.

Additional Services and Extras: I may offer add-on services or extras, such as priority support or training for your staff, which will be priced separately.

Remote delivery of services has proved to be the most efficient and cost-effective method for the clients I work with, especially if they are based overseas. 

Communication: I value transparent and timely communication and use regular check-ins, video calls and collaboration tools to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. 

Data Security: Growth Through Knowledge is registered with the ICO. For the purposes of the applicable Data Protection Laws, Nicole Reilly is the “data controller” – I determine the purposes for which and how your Data is processed. 

Accounting services, in particular, involve handling sensitive financial information, so I ensure the security of your data by using best-in-class software for internal record-keeping.

Software and Technology: I use cloud-based software and tools to access data, manage tasks, and collaborate effectively.

Training can be provided for clients on request and is subject to additional charges.

Documentation and Reporting: Accurate documentation and regular reporting are provided to inform clients about progress and financial insights.

A streamlined reporting process is vital to maintain transparency.

Time Management: Time management skills and tools like task trackers help me to ensure that work is completed efficiently and within deadlines.

Client Trust and Relationships: Building and maintaining trust with my clients is essential. Regular updates, proactive communication, and high-quality work strengthen client relationships.

Training and Skill Development: Skills and knowledge must be continuously updated as business evolves.

I invest time in learning and professional development to stay competitive.
